The Bookkeeper is a part-time position working 16-18 hours per week that reports to the Business Manager. The requirements for this position include a minimum of three years ' experience in bookkeeping with computer applications; previous experience with a ChMS (Church Management Software) is preferred. This position requires being a practicing Catholic in good standing with the church. Benefits include a flexible in office work week as approved by the Business Manager. In addition, PTO is offered accruing from day one of employment and available for use January 1st of the following year. There are no insurance benefits available to part time staff members. Job responsibilities include: • Weekly processing of money receipts • Weekly processing of invoices for payment (A/P) • Bi-weekly processing of payroll • End of month/year reconciliations • Reporting for Finance Council as required • Annual report to Diocese • Tax reporting to State Comptroller (sales & mixed beverage) • Other tasks as assigned by Business Manager
