We'll be starting a 3-part series broadcast from the group in Ann Arbor.
"Man, whom God created male and female, bears the divine image imprinted on his body 'from the beginning'. Man and woman constitute two different ways of human 'being a body' in the unity of that image" -St. John Paul II, TOB (January 2, 1980)
Talk 1: Wonder, Desire, and Human Longing by Fr. Ryan Adorjan, Diocese of Joliet
Talk 2: Sexual Authenticity by John Bishop, FOCUS
Talk 3: Into the Longing by Anna Carter, Eden Invitation
As humans, our identity is based on the fact that we are made in the image and likeness of God. In this three part series, we will breakdown what it means to bear God's image particularly as it relates to human sexuality. Three speakers with very different backgrounds will help each of us believe, understand, and live bearing the image of God.
Join us in St. Peter's Hall at Holy Family. The doors will open and food (and beer) is served after the 6 pm mass. The video will start at 7 pm. You can come any time that's convenient for you.
